E9015-B91 ISO E6215-9C1MV Welding Rod (CHH717)

E9015-B91 welding rod is one kind of martensitic heat-resisting low alloy welding rod and it is mainly used for welding structures of supercritical steam turbine that fabricated by ZG1Cr10MoVNbN heat-resisting low alloy steel. Also, it is used for welding pipes made by T91 or P91 heat-resisting low alloy steel.

Type of Covering: Low hydrogen, sodium

Welding Position: F, H, HF, OH, V

Type of Current: DCEP

Notice:

  • The rod should be baked at 350℃ for 1 hour before use.
  • The surfaces to be welded must be cleaned away impurities, such as oil contamination, rust, moisture and so on.
  • Short arc and narrow-gap welding is recommended.
  • The base metal should be preheated to 200℃ – 315℃ before welding and in welding the interpass temperature should be 200℃-315℃ also.
  • PWHT: After welding the weldment must be cooled to <100℃ in nature condition then it should be heated to 760℃ at a rate of 100℃-150℃/h, after that hold the temperature 2 hours and furnace cool it to 400℃, finally take it out from the furnace and air cool to ambient.
